It looks like it's getting fuel, but not firing above a certain RPM. A stuck float needle won't let it idle. A leaking float needle won't let it idle. A leaking float needle won't be noticed at high speed. Your engine has a idle stabilizer, a black box on the front top of the engine. Disconnect it and set the timing in the water where it will idle at about 750 rpm in gear. Find the terminals on the switchboxes that are jumpered together. Any other wires that are on those terminals go to either an idle stabilizer or an "advance" module. Both can be troublesome, as a short to ground will advance the timing at WOT so far it'll likely throw parts at you.MODEL YEAR CHART. This is not 100% as hotrodders use the 2.0 head on 2.4 engines .Also look on side of the block as it will have a assembly date and older ones had hp stamped into flange. 2 was a 200, 5 was a 150 and 7 was a 175.
